GRA 581 Internship in Teaching Design Professional Education for Graphic Design How do the projects in design principles course assist students to become good graphic designers? Nan Feng (Neville) This study is talking about why the professional education can help students to be graphic designers. For the sake of the relationships and how does every assignment work to make contributions to students? Therefore, what is graphic design is, what is professional education for graphic design, and what is the contents in the class and why. For seeking the meaning of the projects of education for graphic designer. The class which I am shadowing is GRA121 from visual communication design program, Design Principles I, by Michelle Fehler. This course will introduce first year graphic design students to fundamental principles of graphic design in preparation for further study. Students will explore and hopefully discover largely unknown phenomena in the interaction of form including two and three dimensions. This course remains experimental. Students gain the sensitiveness about the basic feeling of the thinking, processes and expressions of graphic design while they keep doing the basic the training such as, cutting, aligning, colors, organizing and so on.
